Food Bearing Plants

We all need to eat, and most gardens are designed to produce food to nourish ourselves. Food crops are high-yielding. They need extra support to help them generate the desired yield. Often, food crops fit into another category of plants listed previously.

Individuals or organizations that have a strong impact in creating change are our food-bearing plants of the urban environment. These individuals have big ideas and a high level of creativity. It takes a lot of energy for these people to do what they do. They can be most effective, like food-bearing plants, if they have the support of those around them.
